Born on an island, Marcelo Galizio grew up surfing and scuba diving around Florianopolis.

An expert in jungle survival, the expeditionary kayaker  / video maker is the first south-American to join Liquidlogic Kayaks Team and only Brazilian to consistently participate on the toughest class 5 Extreme Kayak races around Patagonia and United States.

Marcelo has scored countless First Descents around the globe with his kayak and loves to surf any kind of wave, from roaring rivers and oceans to the freezing waters of the Great Lakes.
