Warranty and Servicing
At Blue Soup we know how important safety is to our customers and so we offer a 12 month warranty as standard on all of our inflation vests.
Whether you have purchased an UP Vest or an UN Vest, we recommend you return it to us every 12 months for a Full Service and Functionality Check.
At the back of this booklet is the Warranty and Service Record page which contains your unique vest number as supplied by our factory. This means we can check your vest against our records, you can see when your vest warranty expires and when you should be booking it in for its annual service. It is important you keep this booklet safe throughout owning your inflation vest.
Our servicing team will thoroughly check the components of the inflation system and lungs, as well as carrying out a full internal and external clean. That salt water really does get everywhere!

What's Included in your Service?
Blue Soup will choose to replace or repair any defects that occur within normal wear and tear circumstances. This covers the failure of any elements of the inflation system and the outer vest seams or fabrics.
Blue Soup retains the right to define normal wear and tear circumstances, but as a guideline this requires the customer to follow the UP Vest / UN Vest care instructions which can be found in your instruction manual and that you take all reasonable precautions to maintain the garment.
Exposure to elements such as extreme heat and direct sunshine, prolonged bacteria and chlorine, and other harsh or abrasive substances can accelerate product degradation and void warranty.
Materials such as fingernails and other sharp objects may tear and rip the outer UP Vest / UN Vest material, Blue Soup will not repair or replace items that have clear physical stress such as rips and split seams, or where there is clear evidence of inadequate care or treatment.
