Our UP/UN Vests are completely manufactured in the United Kingdom from the highest quality materials (apart from the industry standard components). The inflation device is produced by our manufacturing partner Sea Safe Systems who have been designing and manufacturing life jackets for over 50 years, the outer material is made from a specialised 4 way stretch material that is usually used to manufacture team uniforms for contact sports such as rugby and American football.

Once ordered, how long will my vest take to arrive?

Each UP/UN Vest is made to order so therefore you need to allow up to 8 weeks weeks for all of our vests to be manufactured by hand (we do always aim to have them to you sooner) Make sure you put the delivery address of where you will be at this time when checking out.

Does my Vest come complete with Co2?

Due to expensive shipping costs and restrictions to some locations your UP/UN
Vest is shipped without Co2.

 We recomend you purchase your cylinders from a reputable supplier in your area, regarding thread sizes and availability of Co2 refills we have found that it is easier to source

Where can I buy Co2 Cylinder Refills?

You can purchase Co2 refills online or through through various water sports / sport equipment outlets in most countries. Please make sure you use a reputable supplier for any purchases you make.

We recomend you purchase your cylinders from a reputable supplier in your area, regarding thread sizes all our Inflation Vests come with 3/8" threads and we recommend cylinders are upto 24g charges

Which countries do you ship to?

We can ship worldwide from mainland UK, however there will be a difference in delivery costs dependent on where you are in the world. When you reach the checkout please enter your location and the shipping charge will be automatically added for you.

PLEASE NOTE: that for orders outside of the UK, there may be tax and duties payable.

Can I use the UP or UN Vest in all water sports?

The UP Vest and UN Vest is designed to be easy and comfortable to wear and is suited to most water sports, ranging from surfing, SUP, paddle surfing, windsurfing, kayaking its flexible nature means it will allow you a full range of movement and not interfere or inhibit you in any way.

What if my UP Vest doesn't fit?

If you intend wearing the UP Vest over a wetsuit or impact vest you may want to go up a size, but depending on the environment and the size and power of the surf you may wish the UP Vest to be super tight, again this is a personal preference and if on receiving your UP Vest it really doesn’t fit we can exchange the outer vest only if you send it back to us,(there will be a charge for postage and packing though).

 Sizing - Getting the Right Size of UN VEST

As the UN Vest is designed to be worn under the wetsuit you should pick a size closer to your actual body measurements as it will not need to stretch over any other waterwear. However, if you also plan to wear it with an impact vest as well you need to measure yourself for sizing with the impact vest on as you may need a bigger size. (if wearing an impact vest the un-vest goes on top of this and under your wetsuit)

What if my UN Vest doesn't fit?

The UN Vest is desgned to worn under your wetsuit (over your impact suit if wearing one under wetsuit) - so therefore we reocommend you choose a size that will be snug fit so when inflated it stays close to your body, again this is a personal preference and if on receiving your UN Vest it really doesn’t fit we can exchange the outer vest only if you send it back to us,(there will be a charge for postage and packing though). 

How often do I need to service my UP Vest or UN Vest?

The UP Vest should be returned to us at least every 12 months for a service and functionality check. Blue Soup thoroughly checks the components of the inflation system and lung, as well as carrying out a full internal and external clean.

Will my UP Vest and UN Vest work with different size of Co2?

Yes, but Blue Soup cannot be responsible for any issues caused by using different sized Co2 cylinders such as inflation rates or over pressure damage caused by using Co2 cylinders over 33g

Can I buy replacement outer vests?

Yes we will be producing a range of outer vests for each season please email the office with any enquiries. Also when your vest comes in for its yearly service a replacement is included in the price.
